My God, I just heard from the Lopaczynskis about Lisa. In our first 2 years of high school we were very close. Had alot of fun and did alot of walking around the neighborhood. We also went to River Oaks alot. we'd go to the Polka store by her house and get sugar cookies and there was a mexican restaraunt by Pizza Pete, after school we'd walk there, get a booth and eat chips with salsa. There was a weird waitress and she'd play the same song on the jukebox over and over. We'd sit there and laugh. It was "Love is in the Air". Whenever I hear it (which is very rare) I think of her. My sympathys go out to Toni, Jim, Phil, Mr and Mrs. Mazzuca and the rest of the family.

I am stunned. Lisa lived across Sibley Blvd. from me when I still lived in Cal City. She had a great sense of humor and such a great laugh and smile. My condolences to her family.

I am deeply saddened by Lisa's death. I have many treasured memories which we made together. I have never laughed so hard nor so long as I did when I was in her presence. I just discovered the news in regards to her passing yesterday (10/11/09). Numerous times we lost contact. I was making another attempt to find her and that was when I came upon her obituary. She will forever be in my heart as will the memories at Saint Victor. If anyone knows of an address to where I could send the family my condolences please let me know.
