Linda (Cutri) Hummel Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Linda (Cutri) Hummel, age 61, of County Road 28, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at home, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She is survived by Timothy Gerstner of Canandaigua; two children, Elizabeth Hummel (Jason Swimm) and Grant Hummel, both of Canandaigua; four grandchildren, Suzannah and Michael Swimm and Jack and Elisa Gerstner; three brothers, Frank (Teddy) Cutri of North Carolina and Mike (Elaine) Cutri and Richard (Cyndee) Cutri, both of Canandaigua; brother-in-law, Jerald Zimmerman Sr. of Canandaigua; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, A. Sue Zimmerman in 2000. Linda was born and raised in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Russell and Rose (Sansone) Cutri. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School and Canandaigua Academy, class of 1965. Linda earned an associate's degree from Cazenovia College in 1967. She was employed at Stickley Audi & Co. for many years, where she enjoyed a successful career in sales. As a child Linda was crowned the "Rose Princess" in 1954, a source of family endearment for many years. She enjoyed her monthly card group for 30 years. Linda was proud of her family and grandchildren and loved to spend time with them.
