An awesome smile, a flip of her hair
Her contagious laugh, said Trudy was there
A light in a room, she could brighten any mood
She never knew a stranger, was never rude
If you were a friend you were blessed indeed
Just call for her and she came at top speed
Loving, caring and loyal too, Trudy we will surely miss you.!
See you in Heaven dearest friend. Love Shirley (DeLyser)
A lifetime of friendship we shared til the end
So honored and happy to have called you friend
We met as youngsters in another town and place
Our friendship lasted as we both moved away
Only to meet again in a new school and a new day
The roller skating parties at Palmyra school to
The Senior Banquet at Canandaigua all us girls went to!
Cb radios, dances at KC Hall, Halloween in the Park, Christmas Ball
So many memories, so many tears you and I shared, we did it all.
I know you sing with the Angels and are waiting for me
Just save me some room "Under the Bamboo Tree"
Terry was my first friend when I entered the Academy Dec. of my Freshman year. He stayed a good friend all thru life especially when he and my husband Doug (Clem) Green met up in DaNang in 1966-1967. I remember he sent his then girlfriend- later wife Sharon to see me at S.E. Nichols and a friendship developed. He was a jokester, best friend if he liked you, family man, fun and loving and caring. Terry served his country proudly as a Marine, came home and served his community as a Sheriff in Ontario County and then a pillar of society with his own businesses. He would help anyone. Terry was a good listener and when after 33 yrs my marriage ended he helped me see there was light at the end of the tunnel. He even met my new husband a few yrs later and treated him like old friends. Terry was a gem. The war was not kind to Terry like so many others but he hung in there and accomplished much. Fighting the memories of horrible nightmares and sights unforgotten under it all he was still one terrific guy. TY Sharon and family for sharing your wonderful husband and father with the rest of us and may he and Doug (Clemmie) as he called him be raising Cane together in the far beyond. Love you Terry always and TY for being my friend. ShirleyAnn DeLyser Green Millsap
