Roy A. Van Voorhis, 56, of Las Vegas died Tuesday, March 22, 2004. He was born May 18, 1947, in Canandaigua, N.Y. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a senior technician for EG&G. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Gail Dawson of North Carolina and Marcia Van Gelder of Florida; one stepdaughter, Melinda Griffin, and one stepson, Randy Odom, both of South Carolina; his parents, Charles and June Van Voorhis of New York; one sister, Amy Isaacson of California; and six grandchildren.
