Lois was born January 17, 1932 in Carbon, Texas to Charlie and Irene (Maynard) Petree.  Lois graduated from Morton Valley HIgh School in 1949.  She married William T. (W.T.) Eaton on November 23, 1950.  Lois was employed in manufacturing for many years but spent her later years as a housewife.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She always had time for family and friends giving unconditional love and guidance, Lois and W. T. loved working in their yard, it was always immaculate and enjoyed by all.  Every Christmas the yard was always beautifully decorated and viewed by many children and adults.  They also displayed a Christmas village with over 100 houses.  It was always a lot of work but they said "if it puts a smile on one child's face it was worth the work."  In addition to keeping a beautiful yard, Lois enjoyed cooking, sports, traveling, shopping and most of all, her grandkids.  As she battled cancer her faith never faltered.  She was strong willed and never gave up.  She will always be remembered for her strength and courage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Petree and Irene Maynard Petree, her husband, William T. Eaton and her brother, Jack Doyle Petree.

Lois is survived by her children, Clinton and Janet Eaton, Sandra and Rogert Mangum and David Eaton and Jill Stephens, all of Eastland, twelve grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren
