Sue Webb (Lovelace)

Margaret Sue Webb Lovelace, 86, of Eastland, passed away on January 18, 2012 in a Ranger nursing home.  She was born on September 4, 1926 in Flatwood Community, near Carbon, Texas to Raymond and Bertha Horn Webb.  She was a bookkeeper for Lovelace Transfer and Storage for a number of years and later for Smith Plumbing.  She married Charles "Tot" Lovelace March 31, 1945 in Eastland.  He preceded her in death on August 6, 1966.

Survivors include her son:  Clint Lovelace of Cisco, daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and John Galbraith of Alcahua, Florida; 2 brothers:  Donald Webb of Olden and Rex Webb of Lake Leon; granddaughter Toni Danelne Carnlack and great-grandchildren Raylene and Brayden.

She was a member of Royal Neighbors and Super Seniors and was a past  leader for Brownies, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Campfire Girls.  She was also active in the Eastland Band Boosters.  She was a lifetime resident of Eastland and a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Eastland.  She was buried at the Eastland City Cemetery.
