Joe Lee Petree, age 77, died Feb. 23, 2007, at Eastland Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 3, 1929, to Joe and Lula (Hogan) Petree.  On July 10, 1964, he married Betty Jane Ledbetter in Albany, Texas.  He worked for the cities of Cisco and Eastland as a heavy machine operator, retiring in 1992.  He is survived by wife, Betty, of the home; sons, Mark Petree and wife, Cooky and Donny Lee Petree and wife, Tammy, all of Cisco, Dale Petree of Brock, Terry Dean Petree of Waco; daughter, Judy Crawford; brother, Burl; sisters, Murl Johnson, May Dell Petree and Betty Jones and husband; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  His parents and a brother, Thomas Petree, preceded him in death.
