Mary Rogers, 79, of Eastland passed away February 13, 2011 in Abilene.

Services were held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Eastland with Dr. Shawn Brewer and Dr. Jack Ridlehoover officiating.  Burial followed at Murray Cemetery.  Visitation was held Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Summers-Bakker Funeral Home.

Mary was born November 4, 1931 in Loraine, TX to Osca and Eva (Burleson) Treadway.  After graduaitng form Caron High School in 1948 she married Kenneth Rogers, September 10, 1948.  Mary loved to cook, sew and take care of the needs of her family.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Windred, Lewis and Orval Treadway and twin sister, Emma Treadway.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Rogers; son, Don Rogers and wife Bonnie; grandchildren, Stephanie (Rogers) Fuentes, Kailyn (Rogers) Loew and Scott Rogers; two great-grandchildren and sister, Jolene Johnson.
