Alvin Earl Dale - Class Of 1905

Alvin Earl Dale was born January 25, 1967 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Mae Sandlin and the late George Dale. He died June 8, 2010 in Bossier City, Louisiana.  His family moved to Carbon when he was a teenager and had attended Carbon High School.

Alvin's hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching all kinds of sports on TV.  Above all, he truly cherished the time he spent with his family.

Alvin worked for H&H X-ray at the time of his death, but in the past worked for Desert X-ray, Eagle X-ray as well as many, many years at EBA Iron in Eastland.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father George Dale, and his maternal grandparents, David Miller and Opal Hamilton.

Alvin is survived by his wife, Misty Sharp of Eastland; his beloved mother and stepfather, Mae and Jim Sandlin of Carbon; his son Andrew Dale and daughters, Alli Dale and Miranda Dale, of Eastland.  His stepchildren, Tyler Sharp, Jared Bibby and McKenzie Copeland, all of Eastland; brothers, David Dale of Carbon, Ricky Dale, and wife Robbie, of Ranger, Jason Dale and wife, Jami, of Gorman; stepmother Vickie Dale and step sister Holly Casteen of Las Vegas, New Mexico; nephews, Justin, Jarod, Kenny, Brandon, and George Dale; nieces, Tatum and Dustee Grace Dale, Chesnie Dale, McKenzie Krantz and Hattie and Heather Casteen.

Robby Mortimer (1986)

alvin was always a really nice guy,  i dont ever remember him being rude or mean to anyone,  mae im really sorry for your lose your in my thoughts  robby mortimer

Frank Boykin (1984)

Alvin was a great person and will be missed by alot of people.  Good journey my friend, till we meet again.
