I attended Northwood Institute and graduated with a Bachelors in Marketing and Management in 1992. Justin and I were married in 1995 and lived in Davision for 1 year while working in Flint. Justin worked for GM and I worked for EDS. We moved to Boston in 1996 and I transferred with EDS and worked while Justin got his MBA. We had Nicholas our first child in April of 1998. Nicholas was born 2 weeks early, right before Justin's final exams. What a crazy time in our life. We then moved the summer of 1998 back to Michigan and bought our first house in Canton, Michigan. In October of 1999 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Not something I would ever want anyone to have to go through. However, I'm cancer free and have been for 8 years. In October of 2001 we adopted our daughter Katherine. We adopted Katherine through and agency in Utah and were there 1/2 hour after she was born!! We couldn't have had a more beautiful child. In 2003 we moved to Clarkston, MI, because Justin was transferred with GM to Grand Blanc, MI. However, last year he left GM and now works for Oracle, which is a software company. He really likes his job and so do I. He's home alot more. I also started selling Lia Sophia Jewelry in 2004 and really enjoy getting out of the house and the flexibility.
