moved to Dundee in my sophomore year

I moved away from Dundee when I went to college (the first time) in DeKalb where I majored in graphic design/photography. Then I moved to Champaign/Urbana in 1977 and lived there for 26 years. I returned to school in 1979 and became an RN. I spent 21 years working in a Neonatal ICU and then moved to Connecticut in 2003 where I worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse.
In Feb. 2011 I became unofficially retired when I lost my job due to health reasons. (30 yrs of being a nurse killed my back and knees)

I enjoy nature, camping, movies and good ol' rock and rock music. I still consider myself a free-spirit hippie. I am addicted to my computer and satisfy my artist urges creating content on the Second Life web community.

Unfortunately I have been divorced twice.

Since I retired and became single again, I decided, due to financial reasons, to move back "home" to Champaign-Urbana IL since my daughter, mother and sister are all there.
My daughter and her husband moved to Bar Harbor, Maine in Aug. 2018 but they are not enjoying the small town, rural vibe or the winter so they hope to move back to IL soon.

I fondly remember Art classes with Mrs. Flowers, being part of the Drama Club and working backstage on sets, riding in the spanish club's homecoming parade car when I was president of spanish club in my senior year, working on the school newspaper, hanging out in the senior lounge listening to Ina-gadda-da-vida, having major crushes on some upper classmen who will remain unnamed, being sent home by Miss Keeler for a skirt that was barely above my knees!
