People are posting some really neat pictures. What beautiful grandchildren you people have! Guess they come from the beautiful children you had, too!

I hope everyone goes to Debbye Williams Boyce's page to look at her digital art. I am so impressed and amazed.

I was very sorry to read about Vergie, and our thoughts and prayers are with her and Ron. I went to grade school with both of them.

I will take a look at what everyone has posted to the web site. You guys are doing a great job with this reunion. I will try to get some pictures posted of the kids. Steve

My favorite Christmas move is Holiday Inn. I watch it every year. I guess that’s corny. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!

Debbie Holland (Phillips)

Nope. I watched it twice this year! I like White Christmas, too. For some reason, I can't get that song about Sisters out of my head! Merry Christmas to you, too, Kitty!

On the Christmas long ago picture, does anyone think #4 on row 2 could be a heavier Robin Thrasher?

12/29/08 11:47 AM #53

Linda Maxwell (Pujol)

I think # 4 on row 2 is Drew White, #2 on row 2 is Robin Thrasher, #2 on row 1 is Linda Smith.

That's what I call service! Thanks. It confirms some of what we already had. Pretty efficient to write the names on the back :)

Hi everyone.....Thank God my little Haley (11 yr. old granddaughter) is better..this has been a nightmare, but she is so much better. She was on a ventilator for 3 days in St. Louis, but she is off of it now and is in a regular room. We stayed there until she was off of it and doing much better. My daughter, Kim and her husband Jonathan are there with her, and we have the little one, Gabby. She is drinking and eating now. Things were touch and go for a few days. I thank you all for the prayers, and keep them coming. Who knew that a surgery that is usually routine would be so complicated? She went into respiratory arrest. It was so scary, but God took care of her...and I am thankful.............Vicky

We will be in Caruthersville tommorow for the week-end. We will be at the house behind Smith funeral home. Dad's visitation is Friday from 5 to 7 and the funeral is at Central Church of Christ at 10:30 Saturday. I know in my heart that he is in a better place.

Thanks, Jane. You are so sweet to remember. This web site has been a labor of love - but not just my love. Kathy has been with me every step of the way. We started talking about this several years ago. Now we have a whole committee. I was so glad to hear at the meeting that people are emailing each other and renewing old friendships. This makes me happy.

Hello, everyone.....we just got power at my house this morning at 3:00 a.m.!!!Yeah!!!Electricity is so great...I just want to stare at the lights and I love my warm house...the things we take for granted, huh? Anyway, Caruthersville is starting to get in shape with most businesses back open. We were without power for a solid week. The trees around town are so damaged, and large limbs are in every yard piled in front. We were fortunate to have gas burners on my cookstove, and that was our source of warmth at night. My daughter and her family went back to their home today, as they had stayed with us. Thanks for the phone calls from some of you. To Debbie Holland Phillips: Happy Belated Birthday!!!!I had a plan to email you on that day, but the ice storm messed that up....I'm enjoying getting back on the computer.....I didn't miss a day of work, in fact had to put in extra hours since I am the only nurse at my facility...Vicky
