I wandered around the country for a few years after spending a year at USC, not ready to go to school, just looking for a good time and a vocation. I married and that lasted 3 years. My divorce decree arrived while I was at Lackland AFB, going to USAF Basic Training in 1979. I spent 13 years Active Duty in the USAF and 16 years in the SC Air National Guard. I traveled through most of northern and central Europe while stationed in England from 1986 to 1989. England's history was fascinating. I found much to like about the highlands of central Europe. Ireland was a blast and so was Scotland. I had been to the middle east a few times while in the military and after I retired 1 Mar 2008, I went to the middle east as a contractor for Lockheed Martin, working on F-16 aircraft. I returned to SC in the first part of 2010. I finished my BSBA in early 2014 and will enroll in a Masters in Business Administration in the next couple of months and also plan to acquire an accounting degree during the next couple of years while going on a new contract for Lockheed to Oman. I am in the initial planning stages to start up a business with one of my nephews, possibly in the I-20 corridor between Alpine Road and the Pontiac exit. That is one of the primary reasons for my working in the middle east---seed money for a business.
I live in the country, south of Lugoff in Kershaw county. (when I am home:))
