It just wouldn't be right if there were no "In Memory" comments for Larry. Larry was one of our close friends in our group of a tight-knit group of guys. Sadly, today only three of us remain. The others may be gone, but I think of them often and remember them clearly. For Larry, I remember the night his absconded with a few bottles of his parents wine before we went to a drive-in movie with a couple girls. After we dropped off the girls, we returned to his house and parked the the station wagon in the drive way. Some electrical fire started in the car and we had to call the fire department , which arrived soon and put out the fire onder the hood. Left behind in the car were the inncriminating empty bottles of wine we had taken with us. Oh, oh!! Not sure of the punishment Larry got for that little problem. Some months later after the car had been repaired, one night we decided to have a drag race under the arcade at Wahington. My 52' Oldsmobile left his wagon in the dust. Infact, he never left the start line, having blown his transmission as he shifted it into drive. He married the love of his life,, Maria, and had a wonderful career as owner of Overhead Door after graduation. God bless your heart, Larry. You were a great friend. RIP.
