Complications with diabetes.

Randolph “Randy” J. Dudrey, 65, of Cedar Rapids, died on Friday, May 9, 2014, at St. Luke’s Hospital following a short illness.  Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Teahen Funeral Home.  Private family services will be held with a burial at Linwood Cemetery.

Randy is survived by his two children Marlene (Reed) Drake of Oxford and Marck (Becky) Dudrey of Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren; mother Betty Dudrey of Marion; three siblings Linda (Bob) Dunahugh of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Gil) Brown of Indianapolis, IN, and Jeff (Joan) Dudrey of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Vernon, sister Debra Smith, and niece Heidi Bruggeman.

Randolph Joseph was born on September 17, 1948, the son of Vernon and Betty (Bauers) Dudrey.  He spent his life working as a laborer and optician.

Randy loved to karaoke, fish, and mushroom hunt.
