Make no mistake about it, Ann will be missed. She has been a staple of our reunion committee for years. She was the person responsible for our tour of George Washington High School to see all of the changes made since our graduation during our 50th class reunion. I personally will miss her wit and humor during our get togethers that the committee who research missing classmates had anually until the pandemic happened.

There are a few people that I have wished I had known better when were in school and Ann happens to be one of them. Rest in peace Ann.

Oh so sorry to read of Ann's death.  She was a remarkable force with all the planning we went through for our reunions and the gatherings in between.  I too only knew of her in the 60's but didn't actually know her.  I am glad I had the chance to change that over these past few years.  Oh these poignant times....

Dear Anni best friend in high school. Such a big loss. Will always miss her. All the dances and silly fun we had. Stealing my brothers motorcycle at mid nite and cruising around town with Anne on back. Best of times...

Ann Mersch was my first girlfriend.

We first met while attending McKinley Junior High School. We started dating, becane boyfriend / girlfriend, and ended up "going steady".

When I heard the news of her passing all kinds of people, places and things from that time with Ann came to mind - listening to the Beatles, the Dairy Queen across from her place, Gail Zarneke, Bever Park, Ann triying to teach me to dance (lost cause), her sisiers Lynn, Vicki and brother Joe, going to Danceland, Dar Ostrom, What a time,

My memories are many and sweet, but none as sweet as the memory of her reassuring smile,

They say Mary Tyler Moore could turn the world on with with her smile - the same could be said about Ann.

I'm going to miss you.

So sorry to hear of Ann's passing. She was a tremendous asset in organizing our reunions. She always looked  twenty years younger than her actual age. She helped me reserch the material on Edward "Danny" Daniels during Covid. She usually beat me to the information we were both seeking. We had some great conversations and I wish I had known she was ill. She will be missed. God bless Ann.

Ann was a beauty, absolutely wonderful person. Wilson and I would steal ( Jeff Harper too in his parent's Mercedes ) our parents cars in Jr. High school at night while they were at PTA meetings, and pick up Ann & Gail and go for a joy ride ( bout an hour and a half ). I had my spotted cow 19 of 51 Ford, my green five seven of Chevy and Wilson's fifty seven Dodge De Sota ! God, those were the times ! Sweet, sweet Ann. God & Jesus needed her up there !
