Susan was my second cousin. Her family lived on a farm near Robins, Ia. Unfortunately, I did not know of her illness. Her brother, Billy, passed away a couple of years ago. Her older brother, Bob, was WHS Class of '65. He was an All-State football star in high school. He was about the size of Clay Mathews of Green Bay Packer fame. Bobby could move a house off its foundation, if need be. His strength was of seismic proportions.

My condolences to her family. Sue and her brothers were very happy go-lucky people and my memories of them is that they were always smiling, laughing, and joking. We used to have a lot of fun with all of them when visiting  their farm on summer Sunday afternoons back in the 50s and 60s.

I want to give my condolences to Susan's family and friends. I loved seeing Susan in the hallway and seeing her great smile.
