Lowell was in our auto mechanics class when Bill Holdren was the instructor. He was always laughing, telling jokes and stories. He was a real class "cut up". I am very sorry to hear that he passed away.

I was in the same Automotive Mechanics class as Dan with Lowell. I remember a couple of things about Lowell from that class. One of our classmates nicknamed Lowell "Brillo Head" and Lowell received that nickname as a term of endearment, I think he felt accepted with it because someone took the time to Nickname him.

Second I recall him and the teacher in the class talking about when oil should be changed. Lowell said he wouldn't change his oil because it was gettinmg thicker and was HOLDING HIS CAR TOGETHER. The whole class cracked up including the teacher at this remark.

Lowell was a very likeable guy and I hope he had a great life.
