Car Hits Scooter in Heavy Rain,

Boy, 16, Killed

Theodore Russell Heller, 16, of

875 Oakland road NE, was killed

early Sunday in a car-motor scooter accident.

The Heller youth was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Fairfield and had

lived in Cedar Rapids the last 12 years. He would have been

at senior at Washington high school this fall.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Heller, two

brothers, Larry, at home, and Joseph of Ottumwa; two sisters,

Cynthia Louise, at home, and

Joyce Heller of Knoxville
