Kermit C. Sikir, 23, route 1 Marion, a lifelong Cedar Rapids and vicinity resident, died early Wednesday, June 20, 1973, in a local hospital of injuries suffered in a truck-train crash. He was born July 14 1949, at Cedar Rapids, and was employed as a tool and die maker at Square D. He was, a graduate of Washington high school and a member of the Iowa National guard since 1967.
