On Friday afternoon, at the Andrew Moffett House, beginning at 4:15 sharp (and last for an hour thereafter) we will meet with the ghost of Capt. George Hall Moffett.

One web site describes the Andrew Moffett House thus:

A drygoods merchant with a shop at 188 King Street (Andrew Moffett) apparently built this two-and-a-half-story brick single house on the site of an earlier, similar dwelling that had been constructed in the 1790s by Philip Gadsden; Philip was the son of Gen. Christopher Gadsden, who lived next door and developed the surrounding village of Middlesex. The house has notable brickwork with quoining, belt coursing, dogtooth cornice, and pedimented gable, and the finish gives indication of the application of a late-nineteenth-century red paint to the surface. After her husband's death in 1853, Anna Moffett lived here until after the Civil War when she sold it to the Seignious family for rental property; it retained this use until its recent rehabilitation as an inn.
