CLASS REUNION 2010 UPDATE  

 

 

It is with much regret that I write all of you to let you know that we will no longer have meetings or plan for the 2010 Cruise. 

 

This decision was made at our meeting today due to the lack of participation and commitment from all. Since we have started, we have only had the same individuals that have made every effort to take time out of their busy schedule to attend meetings, fundraiser events and pay their dues. 

 

It has been decided that we will have a Class Reunion Week like we have done in the past.  The week will consist of dinner, beach party, etc. and will be done “Dutch”.   We will continue to post information on the website for those interested in keeping up with what is going on. 

 

Class of 2010 Class Reunion is tentatively scheduled for May 30th to June 5th.

 

Tentative Events Scheduled so far:

Sunday, May 30^th – 8:30 Mass and 11:00 am Beach Potluck

Monday, May 31^st – Nothing planned

Tuesday, June 1^st – Greenhouse

Wednesday, June 2^nd – Paradise Gate

Thursday, June 3^rd – Dinner

Friday, June 4^th – Happy Hour at Hush Night Club

Saturday, June 5^th – Breakfast & Steroes Night Club

 

Your suggestions are welcome. 

 

 

 

1. Shirts -Trissa will work on the pricing for printing.  Each class member needs to purchase 3 polo shirts from Footlocker.  Colors are white, orange and red.  Logo for the front of the polo shirt will be a jaguar head located on the top left side and on the back jaguar paw with school name across the top and possibly the names of each class member.  Mona will inquire about having the polo shirts airbrushed.

 

2. Banner – Ade is working on it.  Mona will inquire about having it airbrushed.  We plan to use our letterhead log or the jaguar on the banner. 

 

FUNDRAISER IDEAS

 

1.      Raffle – Mother’s Day Raffle scheduled for May 8, 2009.  Melissa has created donation/sponsor letter for distribution.  Ade will distribute.  Nicole will work on printing of the tickets.  Tickets sale will start April 1, 2009.  Ticket sale will end May 1, 2009.  Tickets will be on sale for $2 - $3.  

 

2.      License Plates – Per Ade they are still pending.  Letter needs to be written to Director Brown at Motor Vehicle with our request.  Nicole will inquire more about it and prepare draft letter.  Design – on the top we will put the name of the school, jaguar head in the center and paws going around the side of the plate.   

 

3.      Teen School Jam – Tentatively scheduled for May 9, 2009 at the Frenchtown Community Center from 7 PM – 1 PM. Mona to inquire about use of the community center.  Trissa will work on security.  Entrance will be $5.00.  Drinks $1.00. Music JDPP – Nicole will inquire about the getting the band.  Advertisement -   everyone will be responsible and needs to indicate that ID will be required.  Melissa and Nicole will work on the flyers.
