Sad News..Barbara Case Blythe's letter from Pam came back. When I investigated, I found she had passed away December 28, 2004. She married Floyd Blythe from North Meck. They have 2 girls & 2 boys. Her son missed her so very much. She had lived with him the last years as Floyd had passed away before her. We will miss her along with the others we have lost.

I left Charlotte in 1964 and left North Carolina in 1970, so I haven't been able to keep up with any of my former classmates.

Does anyone have information regarding a couple of our former teachers - Oliver Cook and Inez Henderson??? They really had a great impact on my and my life. If they're no longer with us, I wish I had been given an opportunity to let them how much I appreciate their efforts.

Don't know yet if we'll be able to make it back for the reunion. Hope to and still working on it.

Jim, Work real hard on making the trip! Jim Short has a list of teachers who are still alive. Maybe he can check on those two. Do not think they were mentioned when we were talking about who we could invite.

I am going to post a "Wesley Heights Elem" picture as soon as I have time to find it.

Can you believe that picture! I don't know why I didn't have shoes on! What a wonderful time we had Saturday night!!! We missed the ones who did not come & hope you are making plans now to attend our next one in 5 years. Did everyone see all the things Joy Pope Murray brought from our high school days? Thank you Joy for storing these things for 50 years!
