Attended Gardner Webb college for a year.I then entered the US Army in 1968. Then in 1972 I joined the Albemarle County Sheriff's Department which later became the Albemarle County Police Department. I Retired with the rank of Sergeant. When I retired form the Albemarle County Police Department I then went to work for Westminster Canterbury of The Blue Ridge as the Director of Security and Comm. I have one grandson Jake and he gives me a great deal of pleasure.
