VISITED TOMMY ON THE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY BEFORE HIS DEATH ON OCT 21ST. WAS GLAD I GOT TO TELL HIM HOW MUCH HIS FRIENDSHIP  MEANT TO ME OVER THE YEARS AND THAT I LOVED HIM .

WE WERE FRIENDS FOR 43 YEARS AND I DON'T THINK WE EVER HAD AN ARGUMENT. IT WAS VERY EASY TO BE TOM'S FRIEND ...HE GAVE SO MUCH AND ASKED FOR SO LITTLE.

WE HAD SO MANY GREAT ADVENTURES TOGETHER... THE CITY YEARS...WILD TIMES IN PANAMA CITY AT GULF COAST JR COLLEGE ..FISHING TRIPS TO SC WITH CAPT. BRUCE CAMPBELL... SEVERAL NCAA WRESTLING  TOURNAMENTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY.. FAMILY TIMES ON LAKE LANIER .. WRESTLING HALL OF FAME GOLF TOURNAMENTS...BOTH HIS DAUGHTERS WEDDINGS... WHAT A BLAST WE HAD!!

SURE WILL MISS THAT CALL .."WHAT YOU DOING ,BUDDY" I COULD COUNT ON EVERY WEEK.

TOMMY WAS A GREAT HUSBAND,FATHER,GRANDFATHER,FRIEND AND CITY HIGH DYNAMO..  A GREAT EXAMPLE OF A LIFE WELL LIVED ..

TOM HAS BEEN GONE 8 YEARS  NOW  .. I WILL THINK ABOUT HIM WHEN I VISIT UTC  AND WATCH THE WRESTLING MOCS  IN THEIR BLUE AND GOLD SCRIMMAGE MATCH EACH YEAR..                                   TOM'S WIDOW, MELISSA, REMARRIED IN JUNE 2018 . WENT TO THE WEDDING ON SIGNAL. SO HAPPY FOR HER !!     PLW

Well said, PW.

It's hard to add to those memories except that Tommy was one of those rare friends that accepts you as you are, good and bad. I'll miss him alot.

I was overseas when I learned that Tommy was fading away. I called and Milissa held the phone to his ear so that I could tell him I was thinking of him. I hope he heard me. For those of us who were his friends his passing is a great loss. From our high school days onward even though I saw Tommy intermittantly when we were together it was as if time and stopped and it had been just a few days ago that we were together. That is the beauty of friendship you can always pick up where you left off without missing a beat. Tommy was one of those individuals. He will be missed by many.

Tommy i only had one class with you. Spanish was a blast. You were a lot of fun to be around.
