Scott MacLennan (1969)
I was lucky enough to have known Del since 1955. He has been a lifelong friend who was always by my side, right or wrong. A true friend is one of the greatest gifts in life. He filled my life with precious memories of hunting, camping, traveling and just plain fun ;) He taught me so much about life and about death. We burried him the day Coach Phifer died.
Jim Mansfield (1969)
I moved out of Chattanooga 35 years ago. Can someone tell me what happened to Del?Billy Craig (1969)
I grew up knowing Del from Elementry school till High School he was one of the funniest friends I knew and do anything in the world for you. Im sure the group of friends he had on the mountain with keep him in thier prayers.Judy Bitner (Jordan) (1970)
I can't think of Del without smiling...laughing. Hewas so cute and sweet and funny. Like Brenda said,
he was like a little boy. He would get so excited (and spit) he could hardly talk. He and Scott were quite a pair, they made my life more fun and exciting....ask my parents!
Brenda Floyd (Underwood) (1969)
Del, I still miss your sweet smile and the way you always tousled my hair up. I loved you like a brother and think of you so often. You had such a sweet nature and kind heart. Life just gave you a bum rap and death took you way too soon. See you again someday my friend. Rest in peace.
