Oh my! Sweet lady and a friend.. I remember riding bikes all over the neighborhood, spending the night together, calling in to the local radio station to make song dedications and being so excited when we heard our names mentioned on air, and baking oatmeal cookies on Saturday afternoons. We barely made any cookies because we loved the raw cookie dough (something that is frowned on today).  Rest in peace Lauren.

Lauren was a gentle soul.  She was a wonderful friend and will be missed.  In Northside and City, she was one of those wonderful people that was always friendly and positive.

Lauren, I don’t  know of anyone else who was as sweet and kind as you.  Your quiet manner and big smile made everyone around you feel as if your were our best friend.  You will be missed by all who knew you.  Rest In Peace and one day we’ll have a big reunion like no other.

Brenda

What a sad and awful surprise.   I was lucky enough to reconnect with Lauren when Monty Jolly (thank you Monty) got us together  to work  on the 2009 reunion.  She was so funny and I thouroughy enjoyed hearing her wit and wisdom.  Plus, she was able to fill me in on what many of our classmates were doing.  She seemed to truely like everyone.

To her dear famiy and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.
