Richard Merle Waugaman (1966)
Rest in peace, Joy.
Once, in Mrs. Pearson's French class, I returned a book to Mrs. Pearson's desk, carelessly putting it on top of the Bible. Without reproving me, Joy simply moved the book. That memory has always stayed with me.
Haven Ortwein (Jarvis) (1966)
many many fond memories. Joy was a delight, and we spent many weekends together during our three years at City. May light perpetual shine upon her.
Helen Elizabeth Lindsey (Schrimsher) (1966)
Joy was a wonderful, loving friend and classmate. She had a gentle kindness that was felt by anyone who came into contact with her. It was a blessing to know her! I am sure she is being cradled in the arms of her beloved Jesus, with no more pain, no more tears, no more night, only the joy that comes from Christ alone. Joy, you will be greatly missed!
(Dawn) Michelle Jolly (1966)
I did not know her well, but i had a couple of classes with her. I remember her being a very sweet and kind person. She was someone i never forgot. I'm so sad for her family.
Michael McKelvy (1968)
Joy was always a special person and I have always held her in the highest regard! As the song says Go Rest High on that Mountain! You have earned your place in heaven! We, the ones left are the ones that are worse off for not having you with us any longer! God Bless you and your family!
