Nelda Lynn Patton Wallace

Pontotoc - Nelda Lynn Patton Wallace, 69, passed away November 25, 2017 at her home. She was a graduate of Chattanooga City High School, MTSU Murfreesboro, TN and The University of Mississippi in 1970. She taught Home-Ec at all three county schools. She was the first female school teacher in Pontotoc County to drive a school bus. After retirement, she taught ICC's GED program, and later taught at Millcreek of Pontotoc. She enjoyed cooking, crafting and spend time with her family.
Services will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Kevin Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow in Pontotoc City Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors: her sons-Greg Wallace(Cassandra) and Jason Wallace; her grandchildren-Reed Wallace, Carra Beth Cornelius(Drew), Brianna Wallace, Trinity, Riley Ray, London Taylor, Brooke Johnson and Summer Strevel; 3 great grandchildren-Raynee Wallace, Bayleigh Wallace and Kyleigh Wallace and sister-Linda Hanks(Jim) of Knoxville, TN.
Preceded in death by: her husband-Dennis Ray Wallace; son-Chris Wallace; mother-Mary Neil Height; father-Fulton Patton and grandparents-William and Zippa Gossett.
Pallbearers: Ryan Hanks, Drew Cornelius, Donnie Taylor, Brent Jamison, Michael Terry and Bobby Taylor.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 5-8PM and Monday, November 27, 2017 10AM until service time.
