I knew David since we were in the first grade at missionary ridge grammar school. he was my best friend. He was smart and easy going. life was not easy for him , as his mother died when he was in the fifth grade. he spent a lot of time at my house and we were like brothers. He died at UTK when he just turned age 18 during his freshman year of spinal meningitis.The old saying the good die young certainly applied in his case.He has been missed by me through out all these years.
