I was so sad and shocked to learn of Peggy's passing. She was in the group I ran around with in school. A sweet, kind person. One of my most vivid memories is being driven to a school activity by Peggy's mom. We were pulled over by a police man with lights flashing. The whole group of kids in the car was scared of what was going to happen. The policeman came up to the car, stuck his head inside the drivers side and kissed Mrs. Merriman. I looked at Peggy in shock. She just giggled and said, "That's my Dad".

Thank you Kay for that story! I am Peggy's sister Lynn. Peggy was indeed the kindest person. I miss her terribly.  All of the people in that story have passed away & it gave me so much pleasure to read it & remember my family!

Lynn, Peggy and I had many enjoyable times together since you lived not far from me when I lived on Endicott street. Then Diantha  and I became friends when they moved into your house. Your Mom was a special lady. Is she living?
