Just an update. My wife, Faith, of 50 years passed away from liver cancer (non-alcoholic as she did not drink) on October 21, 2023. She took both jabs so I cannot say for sure it was 100% cancer. When I sell my house, I plan to return to the Chattanooga area (from Spokane, WA area). I arrived back in Ooltewah on November 5, 2024. Glad to be home.
Now that I look back I can see I should have taken Electricity, Radio/TV or maybe auto mechanics; I was lazy and wasted four years in Printing. Sad, but true.
Joined out of school and discharged in March of 1971. Went in single and came out single. Should have used the time to take night classes.

Type Your Answer Here how many 2 of the sweetest girls in this world!!! They are my life.
Grew old. Joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1975.
Because most people do not wish to study the Bible deeply and find out if they (myself as I did in 1975) have been following incorrect teachings, I am writing this here with the hopes that the Holy Spirit will lead many to watch the following series of 24 videos which is so important to be ready when Jesus comes soon. I promise you that if you watch the entire series with an open spirit you will learn much and your life will change for the better. We are all getting old and we should want more than anything to rest in peace upon our death. God Bless everyone and thanks for the memories!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIVzQmoA...EFgOYwx6guQ9jMnOoRaw

Hey Cousin! The world has changed since we visited your home near Maryville several years ago now. I think you are living in the Dunlop area now? Faith passed away on October 21, 2023 from liver cancer. My house is supposed to close the end of October 2024, and I will be (plan to anyway) heading back to Chattanooga. Currently living Southeast of Spokane, WA. I hope you are doing well, Joe.
I think some of the info above is incorrect. Says Ernie was born in 1955, that would make him 11 at high school graduation in 1967. I remember him and he was not an all state center at 11 years old. Just saying.
I remember Phyliss as a very sweet person. I liked Brenda Woody all my time at KTHS and Phyliss lived next door to Brenda. I remember that I was shocked when Phyliss died because it was around or soon after she graduated. Such a sweet girl and gone so early in life. I just wanted to share my thoughts. I guess because I have been going over others who have passed over the years. I saw so many who died young which I had not known about. I hope they were all saved and are sleeping and awaiting the 1st Resurrection when Jesus comes!!! His coming is soon. God Bless.
I am not sure I knew how he died. A surprise to me in 2023 it was in a auto accident! My best memory involving Mr. Seal (JB as many of us 'lovingly' called him) had nothing to do with school; it was finding out he was a Seventh-day Adventist Christian after we joined the church in 1975.
I new Marcella from East Lake. She was a sweet person. I am ashamed I waited until now to make a comment on her page. I have thought of her often. She new my mother who worked in the cafeterias at East Lake Elem. and Kirkman.
I did not know Larry personally but, I would like to express my sorrow to his family.
