A PMC narrative

A couple of weeks ago I was in my "Man Cave" (garage) working on my bike.  I looked out and see this new SUV stopped in front of my house.  After awhile when nothing happened I thought to myself, "let's see it's either someone trying to sell something, wrong address or a Christian missionary" and waited and waited. 

The driver finally got out and walked up the driveway to the open garage, confidently.  I looked and looked and saw Billy Symolon, my rommate.  He looked the same, older,but the same. I met him half way up and hugged him. His first words were " We didn't think this was the right house", I guess my full Moses beard fooled him. I thought "Who's we?". Just then Andy Patton gets out and waves.

I hadn't seen him since the Boardwalk Bowl.

Their wives followed and as I turned around to get 4 chairs I had tears in my eye.  I was that surprised!!

Hey everyone, there's still time to get in on the "52 and 1/2 Year Reunion" of THE BEST CLASS .   Remember it's going to happen next year, a 7 Day Caribbean Cruise (17-24 March 2019).  It's just an informal get together to keep the spirit going .  Everybody makes their own arrangements.  Jay, and several others set it up through Donna Balaban (Cruises.Com) at 1-800-288-6006, or use your own favorite Travel Agent.  The cruise is with Norwegian Cruise Lines.  The cruise is "The 7 Day Western Caribbean From Tampa".  You may have gotten an Email from Jay Repetto about this recently.  Come on, lets make this a real fun time.  The cruise is just the way to get together.  Over drinks, cigars and dancing we can reminisc and begin to talk about the 55th.  I;m sure we'll take a moment or two to toast our Classmates who have passed.

Clark, Col Bill,  (and every one who comes together on this website),

We all have reached the time in life where we know that time is precious and that our years at PMC created many of the most important and most personal bonds that we have.  I (and I know everyone of you) have  experienced deep personal loss with the passing of our classmates.  

Thanks for seconding me for the responsibility of putting together the Remembrance portion of our next reunion.  Ted Zak has been in contact with me and has agreed to help. 

Reading Ted's email flooded me with a lot of memories of those of us that found ourselves to be members of  PMC's Notorious And Elite Brotherhood of Permanent Cadet Privates (NAEBOPCP's). 

Jay Repetto (one of the most exemplary members of the NAEBOPCP ... I am quite sure that he never once shined his shoes in his 4 years at PMC)) called me and gave me his always well thought advice plus a review of how it went at the last reunion.  Ted and I will await the formation of the Reunion Committee and will work with the committee to put good stuff together.  Best regards to all.  Henry Faryna, Painted Post, NY.

A PMC Narrative

I like the write so.... I want to communicate with my "Classmates-Fraternity Brothers-Team Members".

For me writing the first  "A PMC Narrative"  should be about Clark Wonderland,TKE.

I was one of the first to join (www.classcreator) which was his creation.

He knows the system,cold.

With Clark's help? we will put "A PMC Narrative" so those who want to communicate can or not!

You are right Bill S., TMI!  By the way everyone, I talked to "Classcreator "  and I really can't do what I was trying to do, set up another Tab to work Like Message forum.  The only possibility is to set it up in "User Forum".  I'll set up a User Forum titled "A PMC NARRATIVE" and anyone can contibute under that forum.

Easy to find:

Take Rt 202 North to West Chester to Rt 322 past Downingtown.  Continue on Rt.322 until you come to Birdell Rd.  Make a left on Birdell Rd and follow to  Beaver Dam Rd.  Make a right on Beaver Dam Rd and follow to Tel Hai Circle and make a right. Follow  Tel Hai Circle around to the Chapael. the entrance to the rehab is across from the Chapael.

Look for the guy's making all the noise, that 's us.  Come in and they will tell you where to go!

So far the following Classmates have said they are coming and there are calls into some others that have not returned my call!

Hey Classmates, I just talked to Andy Patton.  Anyone going on the 50 1/2 year Reunion cruise, or even still thinking about it, you might want to make your Airline Reservations to Tampa quickly.  Andy said he had difficulty making reservations, space was very limited already.  

Andy and I are going on the cruise, are you???  It's another chance for us to get together, talk, reminisce have some fun together and satisfy that nostalgia itch we all have as we get to be "Old Farts".  Be There or Be Square.
