Gerry/Jerry,

It hasn't been discussed as far as I know.  I'll bring it to the committee.  I know your buddy Sophicles M. Sophicles has passed on.  Not sure if others are still kicking.  Thru Dave Irons, I have heard from "Skip" Dougherty and actually added him as a guest member of the site.  He's 80 and still kicking.  "Skip" was a coach and Tack Officer.  He was and still is close to several of our class.

I remember Skip well. He is a great guy, and a true warrior. I'll bet he's still very physically fit. Maybe he can lead us all in the Daily Dozen at the 50th!!

  I'd love to see Skip at our reunion and I know guys like Dave Irons would too.  Hope we can get him to come.  He was a great mentor to many of us.   Bill

Hi Gordy;

Great to hear from you. I'll investigate and see if this is available in a decal.

See you at the 50th.

Whatever floats your boat. I already have a picture of Barack Hussein Obama, in my bathroom, but it isn't hanging.

Professor Zahka may still be around. I think he was the last Professor from our class to retire. Jerry, you have done more talking on the site than you did the whole four years at PMC. LOL

Prof. Zahka died on September 12, 2013 at age 84. He lived in Swarthmore, PA.

Great observation John. You're still as sharp as I remember you.

Writing is safer for me. I can review, backspace / edit and delete. I have time to think before I open my mouth, and make a TOTAL fool out of myself !! Additionally, I've become relatively opinionated given my older age and life experiences; call it old fart syndrome. OO-RAH !!

While I have been following this discussion, i got out my 1966 yearbook and in the pages for some unknown reason I have kept a copy of the 4/29/65 Dome paper. Would anyone like to have iot for the reunion? Just let me know.

The video "Just A Common Soldier" was wonderful and thought provoking. I must admit it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Jerry for sharing it.

To all of our Classmates;

On Thanksgiving Day at or around 3:00PM please take a minute to raise a glass of your finist to all of our Passed and Present Classmate.  Remember those who have gone before us and pray that those of us who are still here will live a long a problem free life.  Enjoy! God Bless.  Ed Farrell.

11/20/15 02:02 PM #123

William H. Jr. Bengle

Amen!

11/20/15 06:08 PM #124

James D. Dunbar

Amen also.

As we think about Thanksgiving and football, I can't help but remember the Thanksgiving Day games on the boardwalk at Atantic City Convention Hall.  I've had a unique opprtunity to go to church for a number of years with a Merchant Marine ship Captain who was the Cadet Commander of the Merchant Marine cadets when we met the Academy on Thanksgiving Day 1963..

Jim,  Next time you see that Kings Point grad from his class of '63, remember to tell him that we stole their Bell for our game in '65.  Bill Symolon
