Kathryn M. Boheler

1964-2010

Kathryn Marie (Force) Boheler was born Christmas Day 1964, the best Christmas present ever. She went to Heaven Oct. 5, after a long hard struggle with Lupus and Cancer.

Kathy grew up in Cheyenne, graduating from East High School in 1983. Kathy attended LCCC on a rodeo scholarship, graduating with an Associate Degree in 1985. She married Kevin Boheler on Aug. 19, 1983, at the First Presbyterian Church, followed by the birth of their daughters, Brooke Erin Boheler on March 27, 1985, and Katelin Mae Boheler on June 2, 1989.

In her younger life, Kathy's first love was animals, cats and dogs and then graduating to horses. She started rodeoing in the Little Britches Rodeo at the age of eight and continued through high school and into LCCC. Over the years, she had won 35 trophy buckles, including an all around saddle. Kathy won the Wyoming High School Pole Bending State Championship in 1983, which qualified her for the National High School Rodeo finals in 1983.

Kathy was employed by First Education Credit Union in 1991 as a receptionist. Her family takes pride in her accomplishment of reaching the position of vice president. Kathy was dedicated to her co-workers and the members of the Credit Union. Her love of life and affectionate smile and laughter brought much joy to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Kevin; two daughters, Brooke Erin Glandt (Steve) and Katelin Mae; two grandsons, Dallas and Bradee Glandt; her parents, Dave and Norma Force; a brother, Lloyd Force (Brenda); two sisters, Barbara McAmis (Pat) and Janice Hills (Matt); nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Julie Zieler (Scott).

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, 220 W. 22nd St., Cheyenne.

Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Burial of her urn will be at a later date.
