That picture! On post 743, is my wife front right, Karen (Luther North) and one is my best friends at the time Dave Eggert, class of ‘76. After two military careers, 15 moves two children. We celebrated our 40th anniversary this year. She was “one of the boys” back then and still kicks my butt! We laugh all the time when we see that picture in MY yearbook.  As for Maze and Tedesco rounding the corner on a power sweep; I felt very sorry for the defenders peeking around the corner, only to be faced with more than 500 pounds of rumbling, angry humanity headed their direction, looking for someone to hit like a heat seeking missle! As a defensemen I saw enough in practice to know I was glad I wasn’t seeing it in a game! And going the other way it would have been Batsakis and Lampa, equally devistating!

Thanks Bob-o , don’t sell your self short on those practice hits. You gave us challenges also! By the way, give that “one of the guys “ a kiss and a hug from me and Di . Hope to see you soon.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I can't even remember how long a high school football game takes. (None of my 3 sons played football when they were in h.s.) The 60th Birthday flyer says there's a game at noon at Lane. We could still get to the Bicentennials' Birthday Bash without missing the possible game-winning play or anything? (Yes, this means I'm seriously contemplating flying out.)

Grace that would be so awesome!!!!  I know lots of us would love to see you!

We planned it so you can see the whole game if you can last, (it's not like the 70s... you tell her guys), and still make it to Unforgettable Bar in time for pin the tail on the whatever... and after that, STILL have time for after party, dinner or other late evening get togethers if you have any gas left in the tank.  Do it Grace!!!

I’m available for pinnings.

If the game goes anything like it did at our 40th reunion, we may have to ask the bar to open early.

Hi Grace!

Please fly in for the birthday bash!  Love to see you.  I'd recognize you on the street in a minute.  Haven't changed a bit!

I'll go to the game.  HS games were a lot more interesting when you were in HS.  After watching college and pro... the HS game is a little tough to watch.  But, I don't remember a lot of those LTHS games, anyway.

Andrew!  You're such a kid!  Birthday wedgie for the youngster at the party!

RIP to Mickey Carbonelli.  He and Frank Bass were always the most unique ones in Division 668!  Our division greasers!

Anyway......does anybody know if the Class of 1978 is going to have a reunion this year? Also, does anybody know if they have a message forum like we do? I am wondering if my post about Tim knowing Rich can be posted on their message forum. (assuming someone in there knows Rich if Rich is not registered for the forum).

I believe we can post on other message forums if the right people can give us access because I remember seeing a post here from a 75 classmate. Have any of you got to post on other class message forums?

Just wondering......and I am glad we are now on page #32 wink

Those 78ers are struggling to get it together.  Far as I know, no reunion date yet, no website, no Facebook page.  On a site like this one, a non-classmate just requests entry into the site and the adminstrator grants or denies.  Sorry Kenny, not super helpful but not all classes are as stupendous as the Bicentennials!!!!

Hey Ken, you're coming to the Bicentennials' Birthday even though you're only 59, right? cheeky

Grace,

I got my peeps working on changing the 1959 birth year to 1958 on my ID. Should be pretty easy I think. If not, I might need a chaperone cheeky

Ken:  you have to show up!  Who else will give a detailed report on our antics for the website?😁

Janet Peterson (Ingraffia)

There will be a few “youngsters” at our 60th birthday party. Since it’s in October, I think that’s late enough that it counts for those born in 1959 too! And besides, we like you guys! However, you need to invite us to your party next year...

Please Share.  The Class of 1978 has nailed down a date, (Nove 6th), and has a Group Facebook Page if anybody has younger relatives or friends from that class who have been skulking around looking for a 40th reunion.

I think it's called "Lane Tech Reunion: Class of 1978 40 Year Reunion"

Ken, don't worry about being a youngster.  I promise to treat you like you're old!
We'll have the walker standing by for you.  And I just renewed my CPR so you're covered.

Hope the Unforgettable serves "G&G."  Gin & Geritol!

I heard this was the Ken forum...all Ken all the time devil.

In that spirit, here is Ken demonstrating the size of the last fish he caught.

John Simmers

I am not so amazed at the size of the fish that Ken is showing us @ #789 - but, that he is apparently managing to do so, while balancing the tiny Corona Beer he was drinking - on his shoulder!

As my Irish kin would say --- Good on you, Ken! Good on you!

John Simmers... that is Hilarious.

Looks more like Ken is happy he has finally been let out of his cage.
