Janet L. ( McClaskey ) Stauffer, 77, of Chillicothe died September 14, 2019 in Hospice of Central Ohio at Ohio Sate University Wexner Medical Center following a short illness.

Janet was born May 20, 1942 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late John and Mary ( Detillion ) NcClaskey. On May 20, 1963 to Jerry Stauffer who died October 17, 2004.

Surviving is a son, Jason L. Stauffer of Chillicothe, several brothers and sisters and many nephews and nieces. and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Stauffer and a brother. 

Janet retired from Social Security Administration and was currently working asa cook at the Pioneer School and was on Board of Directors at First Capital Enterprises until her recent illness. She was a member of United Commercial Travlers.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no funeral services or calling hours, Arrangment s are being handled by Ware Funeral Home. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pioneer School or First Capital Enterpriaes.
