Fred " Pete" Sanders, age 27, Route 1,Egypt Pike, died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday May 14,1969 at University Hospital , Columbus, Ohio following an extended illness.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fawcett-Oliver Funeral Home with the Reverend Frederic Matchinski officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.

Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial tributes may be made to Ross County Cancer Society.

Born Fred L. Sanders on April 25, 1942 in Neenah , Wisconsin , he was the son of Fred and Theresa Schesel Sanders..

On April 16,1967, he was married to Kay White Hartsough, who survives.

Also surviving are his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs Fred W. Sanders, Jr.10 Sunbury Road, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Fred W. Sanders, Sr.of Little Rock, Arkansas; a stepdaughter, Julie Hartsough at home; two sisters Miss Katherine Sanders of St. Petersburg, Florida and Lisa Sanders of Chillicothe, a stepsister, Mrs. Vola Jane Hawkes, Centerville, a brother Anthony W. of Wooster and a stepbrother, W. Blakley Sanders of Waverly.

Mr. Sanders had been an assistant news director at Telcom, Inc for three years. He was  a member of the Jaycees and the Exchange Club.
