Karen K. McAdams, 73, of Chillicothe died 11:58 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.

Karen was born September 29, 1942 in Chillicothe to the late Verlin and Ollie (Skinner) Blankenship. On May 25, 1963 Karen married William R. "Bill" McAdams who survives. Also surviving are a daughter Lisa K. (Gerald) Cooley, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Ben (Angela) McAdams, Calvin Cooley, Sydnie McAdams, Kayla Cooley and Megan (Jason) Hunt; great grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, and Sophie McAdams, Hallie Hunt and Marleigh Cooley; daughter-in-law Diane McAdams of Columbus and former daughter-in-law Nadyne McAdams, of Chillicothe. Sister-in-law and brother Linda and James Dailey of Chillicothe, a nephew Bill Dailey; nieces Maggie (Chris) Smalley and Dottie (Clark) McCoy, several great nieces and nephews.

Karen was predeceased by a son Mark McAdams.

Karen was a member of the Faith Chapel Church.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Faith Chapel Church with Pastor Tom Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call at the Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements under the direction of Ware Funeral Home.
