Norma Butler Gibbs, 73, of Chillicothe, Ohio, died February 1, 2015 in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Center following an extended illness.

Norma was born November 17, 1941 in Ross County, Ohio to the late Harvey S. and Opal H. Graham Butler.

Surviving are brother, Roger ( Kay ) Butler of Chillicothe; sisters Lucinda Skaggs of Chillicothe and Barbara ( John ) Lemaster of Laurelville and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, longtime friend Pat Rooney and former husband, Robert K. Gibbs of Ashland, Kentucky. She was predeceased by her parents.

Norma attended Lighthouse Baptist Church. She retired from The Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Columbus.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangments are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ross County Humane Society, 2308A Lick Run Road, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
