I can remember when Rod was still Bob Carvel and lived on Second Street in his grandparents home. As most boys do when litle, Rod had a pet that he kept in the house in a shoebox. I had the honor to be with Rod the day we buried his pet turtle. We were in Fifth Grade at that time in our lives.
