Sarah Ruth ( Donahue ) Russell, 70, 0f Chillicothe died peacefully at 2:31 am Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the Ohio State University Hospitals, following an extended illness, surrounded by her husband and children.

Sarah was born November 29, 1942 in Kingston, Ohio to Clarence A. and Helen Beavers Donahue. On November 4, 1960 she married Paul Russell, who survives. Also surviving are her children , Julie ( Terry ) VonClausburg, Highlands Ranch, Co. and Lincoln ( Brenda Kohta ) Russell of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Stephen, Eric, and Lauren Von Clausburg; a brother, Clarence E. ( Gene) Donahue of Chillicothe; sisters , Cecelia ( Dennis ) Moore, of Winterhaven, Florida and Nancy Warner, of Columbus, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother-in-law, Charles Warner and a sister-in-law, Darlene Donahue.

Sarah had a long career with the Mead Paper Company and retired in 2001 from the Chilpaco Human Resources Department. She was a member and past officer of the Chillicothe Evening Lioness Club and enjoyed her family, pets, and OSU football and basketball. The family would like to thank Dr. John Gabis, of Chillicothe and Dr. Namita Sood, of the OSU Wexner Medical Center and their staffs for their care and attention over the past three years.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.. Friends may call 5-7 pm Wednesday at Haller's.
