David LeBeau Heiss, 24, of 416 West Second Street, died Sunday morning, June 5, 1966 in Chillicothe Hospital from injuries substained in a motorcycle accident May 29th on Cook's Hill Road.

He was born December 18, 1941 in Chillicothe to Charles J. and Edith McCoy Heiss who survives at 607 Vine Street. On August 24 1963, he was married to Nancy Shanks, who also survives.

Other survivors are a daughter, Michele Anne , at home and a brother Charles M. Heiss of 85 East Seventh Street.

A Mead Corporation employee, he was a member of International Brotherhood of Pulp, Sulphite and Paper Mill Workers., Local 731 and Adena Archers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Ware Funeral Home with the Reverend Jack Norman officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe where the brotherhood will conduct graveside rites. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Richard Goebel, David Delong, John Dressler, Raymond Shanks, Philip Bobo and David Consolver.
