Clarice J. Hopper Malone, 75. of Chillicothe, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while surounded by her loving family at 1;09 P.M. Tuesday December 19, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness. 

She was born July 16, 1942 at Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Alton C, and Iva M. Ogden Hopper. On April 9, 1960 she married Darrell W. Malone who survives.Also surviving are daughters Clarissa ( Rev. Jon Black ) of Piketon, Bev  ( Michael ) Elliott of Frankfort, Melissa ( RJ ) Donahue of Chillicothe and Becky ( Barry ) Colegrove of Chillicothe, grandchildren Ryan ( Rachel ) Elliott, Tyler ( Brooke ) Elliott, Shea Black , Kylie ( Matt ) Temple, Kaci ( Blake ) Havens, Ethan Donahue, ;  greargrandchildren Ryan and Reid Elliott, Landon and Carter Hanson Elliott. Oliver and Winnie Temple and Keith Havens. ; a brother Richard ( Patricia ) Hopper  of Chillicothe, a brother-in-law, Rev. David Cyrus of Delaware, sisters-in-laws Betty Moser, Marilyn ( Boyd ) Flowers, Carol ( Phil ) Welker and Shirley ( Paul ) Thacker of Chillicothe and numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. She was predeceased by a sister Judy Cyrus, , brothers-in-law Roger Moser, Samuel Woods, Silas Malone and Carl Hill and sisters-in-law Bessie Hill, and Barbara Malone. 

Clarice was a member of the Hilltop Mission Church, where a celebration of her life will be held 11 am Saturday December 23rd with Rev. Jared McKinney and Rev. Aaron Satterfield officating. Burial will folow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends amy call at Wares from 5 to 8 pm Friday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be mad to Hilltop Missionary Fund.
