Woo! Too much to tell in this small space. Attended RU for a couple of years, met my Scottish hubby, moved to Dallas Tx and lived there for 12 years. Then packed up and moved to Scotland in 2008. Kenny is a chiropractor and we purchased a clinic here in the North East of Scotland. We're very proud business owners and glad to be a part of a super community that really reminds me of the NRV (minus the Sonic, Old Navy, Target, Diet Mt Dew and Taco Bell... other than that it's GREAT!)
I've been on a wild ride since spring 2008. I finally FINALLY THANK YOU GOD found my birth mother. And her name is....Debra. My maternal birth family is in South Carolina and have welcomed me with open arms and loving hearts. A big o'l hole in my heart has finally been filled. I met Mamma and my 2 half brothers and my aunts and grandparents in Charleston SC, October 2008, right before I moved to Scotland with my hubby. A week after I moved to the UK, my mom, Helen, became critically ill and I had to fly right back. She was in ICU at Montgomery Hospital. She recognized me, waited on me to come home. Mom passed away 3 days later. I have been given so much in my life, and had so much taken away. I miss her every single day, but I also know she would want nothing more from me and expect nothing less, but to live a full life and appreciate all that I have. So that's what I'm trying to do. I've been so lucky to find my birth family, even my biological father, Jesse. Not many folks get to say they've got 4 parents that love them. What an incredibly lucky girl I am. Every day is a gift. Life's been good to me so far...(Joe Walsh, thank you very much!)
I'm still absolutely best friends forever with Robin Saunders Davis! I'd be lost without her, and probably in considerably less trouble. HA HA!
Can't wait to see all yall in July.
