Craig was in the U.S. Army when he passed away.  He was a Sgt and worked as an Armor Intelligence Specialist..  On the 16th of September, 1972 he was a passenger in a government truck.  The report states he was "killed outright" in an accident..  He was on active duty and in training.  This occured in San Bernadino, California.  Craig married Judith Conner in 1968 in San Diego.

I became friends with Craig through Home room.  He was the Best Golfer at Chula High.  Craig was a real nice guy with a wonderful personality.  We would talk golf and sports alot.  He talked me into joining the golf team my senior year. No where close to him in ability but enjoyed my time on the team.

I was sorry to hear he passed away at such a young age. His potential in life was unlimited.
