Judy was fanatical about exercise. She practiced yoga. It paid off. After 4 children, her last at age 44, she could still rock a bikini at age 64! Her daughter, Sarah, has a yoga studio and teaches healthly living.
When Judy and Doug Norman married in Bonita, Calif. I was their Maid of Honor. It was a simple Quaker ceremony. I lived near them in National City and was delighted to babysit when their first little girl was born. She was a beauty like her mom. Same huge dark brown eyes. I am in touch with Judy's family to this day and I can say she has beautiful children. They all have her huge eyes and great smile.
Judy Trapp left us much too soon due to breast cancer. She leaves 2 daughters and 2 sons. Also 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She spent the majority of her later life between British Columbia and a home she also had in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Judy is described by her children as an amazing mother with a laugh that everyone remembers.
She loved to travel and often took her children on trips with her. Her last trip, while fighting breast cancer, was to Atlanta and then to New York City. Her daughters and granddaughters traveled with her to New York City in July of 2011.
Judy lost her fight with cancer on September 5th, 2011 with all of her children around her. She is dearly missed by those who knew her. Honestly, I can still hear that great laugh of hers! I miss her.
