Also a comment from a former student of Ms. Trager: it is available at www.nationalventuringyouthcabinet.org/files/AmysFinal.pdf Jessica Trager passed away over Winter Break in December 2011 after a lengthy struggle with breast cancer. I recommend reading these amazing rememberances of one of our classmates. There is nothing more I can add except to say she was a terrific person with a truly sweet disposition. She obviously loved her work with children and adults.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I haven't seen Judy for years, but we were roomates for a while in college. So sorry to hear about her battle with breast cancer, that demon that takes so many wonderful women.
Judy was an inspiration to me. I remember when she won President of the 7th Grade at Chula Vista Jr. High. She was a real leader. I remember her campaign speech in 1958 very vividly, and have used it verbatim very successfully all my life.
God bless you Judy Vogt - You were way ahead of your time.
Brought tears to my eyes when a friend of mine notified me about Judy last year... Judy was a real sweeheart and a true blessing. She was such a warm geniune young lady who is dearly missed ...
I don't have the words.... It made me very sad to see her name in this section. We stood in line countless times (in alphabetical order) all throught Jr. High and Hight School. I just came across what she wrote in my Scroll, reminding me how much we worked together in our senior year. Tore me up all over again. Bless you girl...!
so sad to read about this. i did not know Judy very well but still she was someone i admired when we were in school. we should all remember to enjoy each day as much as possible and if we are lucky enough to retire, make the most of it.
I just joined the site.and was especially saddened to read that Judy Vogt had passed away.Judy and I went to school together from elementary through high school. In fact I had a crush on her in sixth grade. She was a really sweet girl!

And to Roy's comments, Judy ended her speech with these words, "a vote for Vogt is a vote well voted".
Judy was a kind soul...I will remember her smile.
