Don R. Wilson was in Michigan when he passed away on the 16th of January, 2012. He leaves a son, Robert P. Wilson. I have no further information at this time
If anyone can fill in the years from 1964 to 2012 I would appreciate it.
I knew Donnie Wilson from elementary school, he sat behind me in 3rd grade. He was part of my life and I know we had more than one grade where we shared classrooms. I saw him less when we moved to CVJHS but do remember seeing him in classes around campus and then on to high school and I have to say I cannot remember a thing about Don, I will quote Ned Renick, "what doe it really mean when we say we drifted apart,- ran in different circles"?
I do remember Donny and I do remember that I liked him and am sad to know we cannot get togeter either on line or at the 50th.
Donnie and I were best friends from 5th grade up to high school. Sometime, in I think our junior year, I started hanging out with older guys from Hilltop. Donnie got a girl pregnant, I think her name was Paula Besser, and got married in our last year, or right out of school. I didn't see him again until I got out of the Army in '68. We actually roomed together for awhile. He hooked up with a girl that partied with us named Jan. He was drafted into the Marines, I think he went to Nam. He and Jan got married. I didn't see him for a long time, then he moved accross the street form a good friend of mine. He lived on Angela Lane, off of Hilltop Dr. south of L st. He work for the civil service. He died of cancer sometine in the late 90's. I can't remember exactly when, but I'm pretty sure he was in his 50's.
