Ray was a long term friend from the time I was less than 10 years old.  He lived directly behind me.  Since he went to St. Rose of Lima for grade school and Junior High, he was not with us until High School.  He was a very bright person, but even I was suprised about his PHD in Molucular Biology or the fact that he was a professor at Cambridge University in England!

I have many fond memories of Ray, like driving in his re-built MG to Jack in the Box for a .19 cent hamburger! ( I usually gave him .36 cents for gas!)

All the ladies loved Ray.......a fact that didnt work so well for me.  Anyway, I could go on and on.

May he rest in peace!  I am sad to know he is gone.

Hugs, Rick Surrell

Ray, great memories of that ol' Bonita golf-4-some of Matela, Ennis, Miller, and Olmsted.. Your colorful comments were so dang funny--and inventive. Thanks for all the help in physics and adv.algebra, my friend.

Although I knew him only briefly, still he stands out in my memory for his kindness each time we met. I would have loved to have known him better. Jann, my thoughts are with you. May you find comfort in your memories of the best days. Bobbi Thiltgen Pointer.

Ray and I were in Homeroom together in high school. He was the most UP person......never without a smile on his face....always funny and always fun is the best way to describe Ray. This is very sad news.

May Ray rest on peace....great memories of a great guy.
